Alice E. Darnel, 78 Alice E. Darnell , 78 of 704 W. South St. St. Mary's , Ohio died at 1:30 pm Wedesday at Heritage Manor Nursing Home , Minister, Ohio , where she had been a patient since January, 1985. She was born on Feb 16, 1907 in Auglaize Co., Ohio as a daughter of Francis Marion and Tracy Leethy/ Blank. In 1925 she was married to Raymond O. Darnell who died in 1969. Mrs. Darnell had retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company , St.Mary's , Ohio in 1969. She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ in St. Mary's, Ohio and the St. Mary's Senior Citizens. She is survived by a son Darrell D Darnell , of New Bremen, a daughter Mrs Robert (Mary) Kling of Vandalia, Ohio;11 grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter Wilma Jean Hobler and a son Robert E Darnell. The Rev. Dennis E. Snell of St.Paul's Church will officiate at the service at 2pm Saturday at Long and Folk Funeral Home , Yoder Chapel St.Mary's , Ohio Burial will be in the Elmgrove Cemetery at St. Mary's, Ohio
