Birth: 1st of five known children of mother, 1st of ten known children of father in Covington, Fountain county, Indiana, with maternal grandfather named Noah. According to Richardson family trees found on Ancestry.com, May 2013, it appears Noah's ancestors migrated from 1565 created Westmill, Hertfordshire, England in the person of Samuel Richardson (1636-1658) his 6th great grandfather, to Middlesex county, Massachusetts where his line of the family remained for four generations until his grandfather, Daniel Richardson (1771-1845), struck out for points west, found in Montgomery county, Ohio found buried in Richardson cemetery of Fountain county, Indiana, with Noah's father, James R Richardson (1817-1859) born Montgomery county, Ohio found buried in Hibbs cemetery of Fountain county, Indiana, the county in which Noah was born, married had some children then migrated west to Saline county, Missouri after 1869 birth of Samuel, ending in Carthage, Jasper county, Missouri around 1877 where he is buried with his family in Park cemetery. Census: 1850, age 13 Fulton township, Fountain county, Indiana with father, step-mother & six younger siblings. Census: 1860, age 23 Fulton townshiip, Fountain county, Indiana with wife. They removed from Fountain county, Indiana to Missouri following 1869 birth of Samuel, leaving behind buried son William. Census: 1870, age 33 Miami township, Saline county, Missouri with wife & four children. Following birth of a couple more children they removed from Saline county to Jasper county, Missouri around 1877 where last known son was born. Census: 1880, age 43 Carthage, Jasper county, Missouri with wife & six children at "southeast suburbs". Census: 1900, age 63 Carthage, Jasper county, Missouri with wife & three kids at 519 east Chestnut street, wife says she had eight children with six living. Census: 1910, age 73 Carthage, Jasper county, Missouri with wife, daughter & her two Hook daughters at 517 east Chestnut street. He once was a farmer later employed as agent for a sewing machine company, later yet an agent for tombstones.
