Services Held For Aged Resident Mrs . Elizabeth Ann Emrick, 93 passed away on Thursday , November 23rd at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Erma McMullin in Midland, Mi. She had been in poor health for the past 9 months. Elizabeth Ann Blank was born in Auglaize County Ohio on October 15, 1857 . She married George Emrick in Ohio and they came to Gladwin from Paulding County Ohio, 44 years ago. Mr Emrick died in 1923. Surviving are 4 sons , Elbert of Dearborn, Mi. George Jr. of Detroit, Mi., Arnold of Flatrock and Harvey of Gladwin, Mi. Also survived by 3 daughters Mrs Ida Nickless of Hope, Mi. Mrs. Edna Bacher of Flint, Mi., and Mrs Erma McMullin of Midland, Mi. 37 grandchildren and 64 great grandchildren and 6 2nd Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by sons Philip, Ernest, Denver and daughters Hannah and Stella. Funeral services were held on Sunday from the McClure Methodist Church with the Rev. Louis Carroll officating. Burial was made in the McClure Cemetery. published in the Gladwin County Record Wednesday Nov 29, 1950 Pg 1 col 5
