from the Lehigh County Gen Web- Anniversary History Of Lehigh Co, Vol II copyright 1914 Jacob as he was known the eldest son of Mathias Fenstermacher was one of the founders of the Longswamp Reformed Church . The proprietary return of 1767 shows that he was the owner of 100 acres of land in that township, and his name appears in the federal census of 1790, indicating that he was still living . We have no record as to the date of his death, and he had no will that has been found. He was married twice , his second wife being the widow Koehler and we know of at least 7 children .
