In 1673 was hij nog meier van het erf Hanhof (bron: Dingeldein, Goederen Huis Ootmarsum, deel III, blz. 189).
Zijn stiefvader Henrich ten Hanhoff verklaarde in 1644 voor de rentmeester Saur dat hij ca. 28 jaar daarvoor met de weduwe van de vorige meier was getrouwd en toen 100 daalde voor de opvaart te hebben betaald (bron: idem).
