LifeSketch: Messer Beeson was apprenticed to his grandfather, Messer Brown as shown by the East Nottingham Preparative Meeting on the 19th day of the llth month 1757 and a certificate was considered and left in charge of a committee on the 21st day of the 1st month 1758. On the 15th day of the 7th month 1758, Messer Beeson was disowned at Nottingham and a copy of the testimony sent to Hopewell where he was then disowned on the 24th day of the 9th month 1759. He died in Fleming Co., Ky.pany, 13th Virginia Regiment under Col. William Russell. He is also said to have served under Capt. Robert Bell at Stewarts Crossing, Pa. and under Capt. John Ramsey's Londonderry Company in the Chester Co. militia in 1778.The photo shown in Memories cannot be this person. This is a photo of a Civil War soldier.
