      Ira M. BRUCE of Switz City died unexpectedly at noon today at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Ruth INMAN on Bloomfield route two. Born September 23, 1887 in Jackson Township, he was the son of George and Armilda (ASHCRAFT) BRUCE.

      The deceased was preceded in death by the wife, Viola Jane (HAMILTON) BRUCE in 1960.

      Surviving are the children, Mr. Joyce CRANE, of Linton, Mrs. Ellen COOPER of Bloomfield route, Mrs. INMAN at whose home he died and Edward BRUCE of Switz City; two brothers, Cyrus BRUCE and Johnny BRUCE, both of Kokomo; two sisters, Mrs. Epsie ROBERTS and Mrs. Margaret PORTER also of Kokomo; 12 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
