--------------------
Father of Christina Elisabeth Schreuder; Jan Hendrik Schreuder, b2; Maria Blisofke (born Schreuder); Johanna Louisa Schreuder; Hendrik Anthonie Schreuder; and Elisabeth Kroes (born Schreuder). He is one of the Schreuder progenitors, but there were others too. An earlier Schreuder progenitor with same name was Heinrich Schreuder from Dorsten, Münster, Germany who came to the Cape via Mauritius where two of his children were born (Judith Schreuder 1704 and Jan Schreuder 1708). Their mother was Adriana Scabalje and his second wife was Cornelia Eenmaal. For interest's sake, Judith Schreuder is a direct ancestor of Hermanus Combrink Gardiner who married my great great grandmother's half-brother's daughter (Leoné van Bergen).
