The father of Dirk Boone lived in the Nicolaasstraat, which is the same street as Sint (Saint) Nicolaasstreet, near the famous Dam square in the centre of Amsterdam, where the New Church is (our Queens and Kings are being crowned and baptized there and so did Dirk and Belia baptize their children there). Here is a film about the St. Nicolaasstreet the way it looks now, there are still houses in it dating back from 1500-1700, so perhaps the house where Dirk Boone lived with his parents is still there to be seen. http://www.at5.nl/tv/straten-van-amsterdam/aflevering/12421
