Martha Osborne was the daughter of Edward Osborne and Tabitha Platt. Her
father, Edward Osborne, was the son of Thomas Osborne II and Martha
Goode. She married John Wooldridge I in Chesterfield Co., VA after his
emancipation in 1704/1705.
Their son, William Wooldridge I, married second wife Sarah Flournoy in
Chesterfield Co., VA. Their children were born in Chesterfield Co., VA,
including Thomas F. Wooldridge, according to the family information and
information provided by William's will, which lists each child and
his/her date and place of birth.
Thomas F. Wooldridge was a General in the Rev. War and the War of 1812.
Cheriah Davis was born in 1765 and married Thomas in 1782 in Granville,
NC. Thomas and Cheriah had seven children. Thomas had a second wife,
Mrs. Martha Easter Aycock, with whom he had two more children. Thomas
F. Wooldridge is listed in the Lawrence Co., Al Census for 1830 as
living. He is listed as dying in 1836 in Texas by the Davis family. He
may have died from Typhoid Fever. Cheriah's brother, Joseph T. Davis,
married Thomas's sister, Martha "Patsy" Wooldridge.
Permelia Emily Wooldridge married, first, Jordon Yarbough
Hundley/Hundly, b. 4 Jan 1781, and, second, a Mr. Rocker.

Dear Frankie,
Several sources: The Davis Family provided rather extensive
knowledge on
Thomas F. Wooldridge and Cheziah Davis, their children, and some
grandchildren. I
wrote letters last year that resulted in numerous phone calls. This was
from my
notes. Although I don't know the site, the caller said there was also a
web site
on the Davis family that gave even more detail. I would suggest looking
at Family
Tree Maker under the Davis name.
The Martha Osborne information came from Holly Ann Burt and the Henrico
Co., VA
Wills and Abstracts- 1680-1822. William Wooldridge's will is available
for
viewing, if you can go to the County Clerk: it was too delicate to copy
anymore.
My guess is that William returned to Chesterfield/Henrico Co., VA when
his parents
were aging and needed care, thus you have some children born in other
states and
some later children born in VA. The dates coincide.
I've managed to save alot of information on all branches of the
Wooldridge family.

below along
with descendants and addresses, so you might contact them directly.
