    18 October 1405: Indentures between Duncan Earl of Lennox on one part and Sir William Cunningham, Lord of Kilmairs and Sir Robert Maxwell, Laird of Calderwood, with consent of Margaret and Elizabeth their spouses, daughters to the deceased Sir Robert of Danielston on the other part, agreeing that the Earl will confirm to Sir William and Sir Robert and their spouses the lands of Auchincloich, and Sir William and Sir Robert set to the Earl for his lifetime the lands of Arrochymore, Inchcailloch, Aihawle and Inchfad with all the other islands belonging to them, for payment yearly of 12 silver pennies at two terms in the year by equal portions at the kirk of Inchcailloch, reserving the woods of the isles except to the Earl's proper use to Sir William and Sir Robert, and discharging the Earl of all wards and relief due by his father to Sir Robert of Danielston; dated at Balloch.
