A case can be made for the historicity of Ausoch de Leon, but the father he is given in many genealogies, Ithur or Withur, is the Red Knight killed by Percival in Wolfram von Eschenbach's 13th C poem, "Parzival," and was fictional. He can be found here: Withur d'Acqs.
