He died in 1762 and neverlived to see the birth of the United States of America. Will July 8, 1762 in Bernards Town, Somerset Co., East New Jersey; probated on Aug. 12, 1762 by Gov. Hardyke (Vol. H of wills, p. 73 of Recordsof the Superior Court of New Jersey at Trenton) This will lists: each of his son, David, George, John, received a third of the plantation. Third devised to John when he reached the age of 17, Daughters Martha, Christial, Elenor, Margrete, and Mary received 50 pounds each.Society Proceedings, of January 1947: (Quoting and Paraphrasing article DFH 13 Jul 1997) at the hamlet of Liberty Corners, nearby to Baskinridge, in the angle formed by the junction of Harrison 's Brook, bounding the property on the East and Dead River bounding the property on the South for a short distance.t.
