Notes about Thurston Raynor

Baptized Elmsett, Suffolk, 21 September 1593, son of Edward Rayner. Came to Massachusetts Bay in 1634 on the "Elizabeth" of Ipswich. (On 30 April 1634, "Thurston Raynor," aged 40, and "Elizabeth his wife," aged 36, took the oath of allegiance at Ipswich for passage to New England on the Elizabeth, with seven children in his care: "Thurston Rayner," aged 13, "Joseph Raynor," aged 11, "Elizabeth Raynor," aged 9, "Sarah Raynor," aged 7, "Lidia Raynor," aged 1, "Edward Raynor," aged 10, and "Elizabeth Kemball," aged 13). First settled in Watertown MA; moved to Wethersfield CT in 1635, Stamford CT in 1641, & Southampton NY by 1649. Died between 6 July 1667 (date of will) and 4 November 1667 (probate of will).
