Notes about Amos Canter

Amos was a teamster meaning back then he drove a horse drawn vehicle for his employer. Of course he also farmed. He was the last one to remember the stories told him by his grampa John Canter, the Rev. War. Soldier who came to live with Amos's family in 1830 due to ill health. He is said to have related many stories of Grampa John's many battles with the Indians and the British.
