ADDIS, Dianne Louise

Born November 11, 1940 died on November 5, 2008 due to complications of a rare Ocular Melanoma. She was born in Sacramento, CA and graduated from Edwards High School in Edwards, CA. In 1962 she received her B.A. degree from Humboldt State University and obtained a Life Time Teaching Credential. Dianne was a teacher for 31 years-the majority of those were spent at Rincon Valley Christian School in Santa Rosa. She was a member of the Santa Rosa Bible Church and because of her love for music, she volunteered often as an organist and pianist at church and school. She also enjoyed quilting, reading and hiking. She loved to travel to places like Hawaii and Alaska as well as Michigan to see her daughter and family. Dianne was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Dorothy Allen and her brother, Steve Allen. She is lovingly survived by her husband of 45 years, Ronald Addis of Santa Rosa; daughter, Michelle and her husband Ron Schanz; granddaughters, Kayley, Katelyn, Kimberly and Kelly Schanz all of Gobles, Michigan; niece, Cassandra Allen of New York, as well as many other family and friends - each of which will hold fond memories in their hearts forever.

Family and friends are invited to a Memorial Service being held Tuesday, November 11, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Daniels Chapel of the Roses Funeral Home, 1225 Sonoma Ave, Santa Rosa. If desired, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Rincon Valley Christian School, 4585 Badger Rd, Santa Rosa, CA 95409.
