Sarah was born in Marshfield, Plymouth Colony. She was the daughter of William Macomber and Priscilla Thomas. Sarah was married to William Briggs on November 6, 1666 in Taunton, Plymouth Colony. William and Sarah had the following children: William Briggs, Thomas Briggs, Elizabeth Babbitt, Hannah Briggs, Mary Forest, Matthew Briggs, Amos Briggs, and John Briggs. She died on March 20, 1679/80 in Taunton, Plymouth Colony. (This notation fails to mention Sarah, the twin of Thomas, who probably died as an infant) «i» «/i»
