The death occurred in the Moree District Hospital on Tuesday nightof Mr. Thomas George Charter, of Biniguy. The deceased, who was 67years of age, was born in Inverell. He followed the occupation of afarmer and grazier, and for many years carried on farming pursuits inthat district.
About two and a half years ago he retired and went to resideat Biniguy. He is survived by his wife, four sons;
Messrs. James Charter(Wee Waa), George, Thomas and Cecil Charter (Biniguy), and sevendaughters; Mrs. James Scott (Moree), Mrs. R. Hancock(Warialda), Mrs. Wakeman (Gunnedah), Mrs. Doherty (Biniguy), Mrs.Johnson - Sydney), Mrs Moore (Queensland) and Mrs.Berthelsen (Biniguy).
The funeral took place yesterday afternoon. The remains wereinterred in the Presbyterian portion of the cemetery, Rev M. C. Gibb officiating at the services at St. Andrew's Church and thegraveside. Mr. B. St. John George carried out themortuary arrangements.
