Paul Maylone. This is in loving memory of Paul W. Maylone, 81 of 514 E. Fourth St who died Monday April 11 1994 at Muscatine General Hospital. Services will be Thursday at the Ralph J. Wittich Funeral Home. The Rev. Robert Hays will officiate. Pallbearers will be William Maylone, Jack Bierman,Sr, Rick Kephart, Richard Knox Dave Maylone,B Tom Essex,and Ernest Morgan. Honorary Pallbearers will be James Kephart, Larry Kephart Jack Bierman Jr. and Shawn Bierman. Burial will be at the Klein Cemetery in Moscow Township, Muscatine Count.
He was born May 4, 1912 in Moscow Township, a son of Eugene and Gertrude Essex Maylone. He married Margaret A Mulvihill on November 4, 1080. The both were lifelong residents of Muscatine. Mr. Maylone was a road construction worker from the age of 13 until his retirement. His grandfather, John W. Maylone was one of the first settlers of Moscow Township. He appeared in the Muscatine Journal on June 19, 1933 celebrating 1,000 years of wisdom. He had a great love for his children. Survivors include two Daughters, A Jean Kephart and Margaret Ann Maylone both of davenport, 15 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren and a brother Charles Maylone of Muscatine. His parents, four brothers and his beloved wife Margaret preceded him to death.
