Notes about John Dew Edwards

John D. attended the district schools near his home in Schuyler co, Illinois and helping his father on the farm, taking an earnest interest in the welfare of the family and helping them along. At age 15 moved to Missouri with the family. He had 12 brothers and sisters none of whom we have information. At the time of Omer's history John was the sole survivor of this family.
Omer states his Grandpa smoked and chewed and had a long white beard. He remembers a spitoon by his old rocking chair.
