In dit document staat dat Martha op 11-06-1907 opgenomen is bij het Bernardusgesticht in Amsterdam. Haar vorige woonplaats was Wilnis.

Het voormalige Sint Bernardusgesticht, een woonoord voor 330 ouderen en bejaarde nonnen. Later werd het een 'gewoon' verpleeghuis. In 2012 is het gesloopt ten behoeve van nieuwbouw. Het stond op de plek van het 17e-eeuwse bolwerk Osdorp, deel van de stadswal. Vanaf 1820 was op het terrein tussen de Nieuwe Passeerdersstraat en de verlengde Elandsgracht een suikerraffinaderij gevestigd. Die kon aan het begin van de 20e eeuw de concurrentie met de vele andere suikerfabrieken in Amsterdam en ommeland niet meer aan, en sloot rond 1910 de deuren.

Het terrein werd gekocht door het St. Bernardusgesticht, dat toen nog aan de Oude Turfmarkt zat. Een deel werd doorverkocht aan de gemeente; daar verrezen later het ATVA en het hoofdbureau van politie.
