graaf van Nassau La Lecq. Hij kocht in 1740 het buitengoed Monnikhof(Munnikenhof) onder Terheyden (N.Br.)

Søn af Maurits Lodewijk II and Elisabeth Wilhelmina of Nassau-Odijk.

In 1720 he was fenrick in the Regimental Guards. In 1725 he was promoted to Captain. In february 1731 he married Christoffelina Maria Casimira Schlippenbach who died 3 years later. From this marriage 2 children were born.

In 1733 he remarried to Josina Geertruida Crommelin in Odijk. He now served as captain in his father-in-laws regiment for several years. In 1740 he bought the estate "de Munnikhof" in Terheijden for Hfl. 7,400,00 from the widow of Jonker van Uffelen.

In 1745 he was promoted to major in the Cavalry regiment of Hop.
