Jaard Anes Ruyg voerde de volgende schepen:

1878-1884 de bark “Schagen” gebouwd in 1856 als “Anna Justina” en in 1860 herbenoemd “Batvia”. In 1877 “Schagen” .

 1886 – 1887 de bark “Tjielingsie”gebouwd in 1856 groot 351 last, 662 ton, was de ex “Pieter Schoenmakers” tot 1864. In 1887 werd deze bark onder kapitein Ruyg verkocht en gesloopt.

 1888-1892 de bark “A. R. Falck” , 338 last , gebouwd in 1846 voor de Amsterdamse rederij Boissevain en op 15 juni 1868 in veiling verkocht aan N. Brantjes te Purmerend.

Dit journaal is in het bezit van dhr. P. A. Smit wonende te Hoorn Terschelling en zoon van het barkschip A. R. Falck , Anries Willem Smit.

Tjaard Anes Ruyg laatste reis. Een bericht op 5 juli 1892 in het Sahlgrenske Ziekenhuis aldaar aan een hersenbloeding overleden. Stuurman A. W. Smit heeft de bark thuis gevaren, maar

ook hem was geen lang leven beschoren op 23 oktober 1894, 40 jaar in St.Mary”s hospitaal te Hoboken N. Y. overleden aan kwetsuren t.g.v. een val uit de mast
