In 1751 koopt Simon Pieterse Meijers, gehuwd met Janna de Zeeuw “t Hof Bomenveld” met bijbehorende gronden ter grote van 38 Gemet, 118,5 Roe(17,628 Ha) van Daniël du Bon (zie overlopen uit deze tijd) Hij is een zoon van Pieter Simonse Meijers van hof “’t Hooiperk”.Op een kaart van Hattinga, gemaakt in 1750, is de naam van het hof duidelijk te lezen, op sommige uitgaven samen met de naam Daniël du Bon. Hij was wijnkoopman te Middelburg (Zie ook kaart Hattinga hiervoor)

 

In 1754 verkoopt de weduwe Janna de Zeeuw de boerderij aan haar zoon Jan Meijers, gehuwd met Maatje Verhille. Zij woont dan al in een enige tijd daarvoor gekocht huisje in het dorp.
