Notes about Jan Hendrikse van Ruijler

Het is waarschijnlijk dat Jan een zoon is van Hendrik Jansen van den Broek en Breunisje Cornelissen Ham, maar niet 100% zeker. Er is te Barneveld 13-12-1696 ook een Jan gedoopt, zoon van Henrick Maesen en Evertjen Willems. Ten tijde van hun trouwen woont Jan Hendrikse van Ruijler op den Broek, vandaar dat hij ook wel als Jan Hendrikse van den Broek vermeld wordt, bij zijn begraven staat hij vermeld als Jan Hendriksen Ruijler. Anna Herms woont ten tijde van hun trouwen op "de Loenhorst" onder Lunteren. Wat betreft de woonplaats van Jan Hendrikse van Ruijler: van 1723 tot circa 1727 te Ede Doesburg dan tot circa 1736 op Varekamp en dan tot zijn dood in 1766 op Ruler, hij is steeds iets noordelijker gaan wonen. In 1749 wordt Jan Hendrikse vermeld als lidmaat in het Woud, op Ruler.
