Johannes Apollonius Ort en Helena Catharina Grobbée hadden samen geen kinderen. In 1888 werd Frederika Johanna Petronella Soeters als dienstmeisje in dienst genomen, de familie J.A.Ort-Grobbée woonde toen in Amersfoort. Frederika was op 13 juli 1865 te Breda geboren en dochter van Johannes Laurens Hendrikus Soeters en Maria Pullis (geboren 4 januari 1836). Maria Pullis overleed vlak na de geboorte van Frederika op 20 juli 1865 te Breda. Johannes Laurens Hendrikus Soeters hertrouwde later en uit dat huwelijk werd de halfbroer van Frederika , Jacobus Everhardus Soeters geboren.

Johannes Apollonius Ort had bij zijn dienstbode Frederika Johanna Petronella Soeters een kind verwekt. Deze zoon Frederik Johannes Soeters, geboren te Leiden den eersten december 1889, werd direct bij de moeder weg gehaald en ondergebracht in een Rooms Katholiek tehuis bij de familie Staleman. Frederik Johannes Soeters heeft nooit bij zijn moeder gewoond. De moeder heeft op 16 december 1922 Frederik Johannes Soeters als haar natuurlijk kind erkend ten overstaan van notaris Andreas Antoon van Straaten, notaris ter standplaats 's Gravenhage.
Frederika heeft haar leven doorgebracht als huishoudster bij de familie Ort-Grobbée. Helena Ort-Grobbée drong er op aan dat haar echtgenoot Johannes Apollonius er voor zorgde dat de zoon van Frederika Johanna Petronella op een behoorlijk niveau werd opgevoed. Na de dood van Johannes Apollonius Ort in 1908 zorgde Frederika voor Helena Ort-Grobbée en haar zuster(barones). In juli 1911 arriveerde Fredrik Johannes Soeters in de USA. De familie in Nederland bleef in het ongewisse. Een legaat van 10.000 dollar, die zijn moeder hem had doen toekomen in 1930 , zette de familie op het spoor en ontdekte de buitenechtelijke relatie van Johannes Apollonius en Frederika Johanna Petronella. Frederika overleed op 30 maart 1938 te Den Haag en werd bij gezet in het familie graf (begraafplaats Nieuw Eyk en Duinen) van de familie Ort-Grobbée. Helena Ort-Grobbée overleed op 12 juni 1938, drie maanden na Frederika, en werd begraven in het zelfde familie graf (begraafplaats Nieuw Eyk en Duinen, inmiddels is dit graf geruimd).
N.B.: De bron van deze informatie is Rob Soeters (kleinkind van de halfbroer van Frederika, Jacobus Everhardus Soeters) en de familie Soeters in Amerika (kleinkinderen van de geeëmigreerde Frederik Johannes Soeters).
