Severin Waekers geboren 1-6-1786 te Maasniel, zoon van André Waekers en Catherine Elisabeth Severeyns (klapper konskriptie 1796-1814, Frans Archief inv.nr. 484).
Op 2-11-1833 wordt voor notaris Milliard te Roermond land te Leeuwen door Hubert Wackers, akkerman te Heinsberg in het onderbroek verkocht aan Severien Wackers, akkerman te Leeuwen, echtgenoot van Mechtildis Versteegen.
In het Journal de la Haye van 31-12-1842 staat een lijst met burgemeestersbenoemingen waaronder in Maasniel S. Wackers.
Op 26 juli 1855 heeft een openbare verkoop plaats van onroerende goederen onder Maasniel gelegen op verzoek van Maria Cox wonend te Swalmen, Joannes Franciscus Hubertus Lommen wonend te Antwerpen, en Leonard Rijnboom wonend onder Maasniel aan Ida Schieffer wonend te Roermond, Sevrijn Wackers, Christiaan Cox en Johannes Zegers allen wonend onder Maasniel, voor f 389,- (notaris J.A. Dirix te Roermond).
