Catharina had samen met haar man Augustinus (Augustijn, Agestinus) Raf(f) een herberg, de Deensche Vlag. Hier vond begin 1808 een watersnood plaats waarbij enkele laag gelegen straten onderliepen. De mensen werden verrast in hun slaap. 32 mensen kwamen om. Onbekend is of haar dood te maken heeft gehad met deze watersnood.
Getuige bij de doop van haar kleinzoon Augustinus Dominicus.
