De eerste steen is gelegd op 29 februari 1908. Beide heren waren directeur bij M. van Waveren en Zn.

In 1926 liet Wouter Albertus een villa bouwen in Bennebroek en verhuisde daarheen in 1927. De villa werd verhuurd. In 1959 verkocht hij villa Eikenhof
