EAST MOLINE -- Services for Lorretta M. DeCapp, East Moline, will be 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Catholic Church East Moline. Entombment will be in St. Mary's Mausoleum East Moline. Visitation is 4-7 p.m. today at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd. East Moline, where a rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Mrs. DeCapp died Monday, May 27, 2002, at Heartland Healthcare Center, Moline. Lorretta Loete was born April 20, 1923, in East Moline, the daughter of Peter and Emma (Roman) Loete. She married Donald DeCapp May 29, 1948, in East Moline. He died December 27, 1985. She was a life member of St. Mary's Catholic Church East Moline, where she volunteered most of her adult life. She was a member of the St. Mary's Altar Society and Lady Foresters. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Heartland Alzheimer's Unit or the John J. Dunne Memorial Endowment Fund. Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Christine and Dr. John Roman, Moline, Cheryl and Steve Callison, East Moline, Susan and Jim Wesselmann, Silvis; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Karen DeCapp, Coal Valley, Ill.; grandchildren, Shannon and Jackson (Karin) Roman, Eric and Evan Wesselmann; sisters, Marian Loete, East Moline, Lorraine Mose (her twin), East Moline; brothers, Peter Loete, East Moline, Charles Loete, Moline. She is preceded in death by her husband and parents and 4 brothers. The family would like to thank the dedicated caregivers of the Heartland Arcadia Unit for their care and concern.
