Notes about Gerben "Germen" IJsselmuiden

Was van 1869-1872 o.a. Armmeester der St. Franciscusparochie te Franeker. Gerben woonde van 1863-1890 met zijn gezin op adres "Salverderweg 19" (oftewel "aan de Trekweg"). In 1890 verhuisden zij naar Dijkstraat 67. In dec.1889 verklaart de Arrondissements-Rechtbank te Leeuwarden in een advertentie in de Leeuwarder Courant Gerben IJsselmuiden, melktapper onder Franeker, in staat van faillissement. De schuldeisers worden door de curator, Mr. P. Feenstra Kuiper, opgeroepen zich te melden "Op de eerste bijeenkomst tot verificatie van schuldvorderingen, welke zal worden gehouden op zaterdag 28 dec.1889, 's namiddags half drie ure, in het Paleis van Justitie te Leeuwarden".
Op 23 jan.1890 is ten huize v/d gefailleerde (G.IJ.) aan de Trekweg ten oosten van en onder Franeker een 'Boereboelgoed' gehouden. Tegen contante betaling werden door de curator Mr. P. Feenstra Kuiper o.a. te koop aangeboden: levende have en vee (o.a. 18 koeien), boerenkarren en gereedschap, meubelen en huisraad, kleding en sieraden, hooi en stro.
