    "De Niedorpen" had bar slechte vangst
    De visclub "De Niedorpen"hield haar eerste grote baanwedstrijd
    in de Wieringermeer in het kanaal tussen Kolhorn en Middenmeer.
    28 Hengelaars waren al vvroeg op pad om hun geluk te beproeven.
    De buit viel tegen, slechts 34 visjes lieten zich verschalken.
    S. Boeve werd 1 met 4 sruks; H. Broertjes werd 2 met 3 stuks;
    na loting G. Knip 3, met 3 stuks.
    Ald. de Wit ving de grootste ter lengte van 22 cm. De controleurs-

    waar de prijsuitreiking was, bleef men nog even gezellig nahngelen.

Notes about Aldert "Aldert" de Wit

Vader Louis oefende een gemengd bedrijf uit tot hij rond 1958 het bedrijf overdeed aan zijn zoon Aldert en op Verlaat ging wonen.
Rond 1967 werden het land en de boerderij door Aldert en zijn vrouw Janie aangegekocht. In de loop van de tijd werd het bedrijf omgezet naar een volledig veehouderijbedrijf.
Toen er rond 1977 gezondheidsproblemen waren, en er geen opvolgers waren, werden het land en de boerderij met bedrijfsgebouwen verkocht aan Cornelis (Cor) Borst, wonende op de Veenhuizerweg 14 te Heerhugowaard en verhuisden ze naar Opmeer.
