Met al haar strijdlust en wilskracht heeft zij de strijd niet kunnen winnen. Na alle fijne jaren die wij met haar mochten beleven, hebben wij met veel verdriet afscheid moeten nemen in het Algemeen Ziekenhuis Delta te Roeselaere.
De uitvaartdienst rond de urne had plaats in de Sint-Andreaskerk te Woumem, aansluitend volgde de bijzetting in een urnenkelder op de begraafplaats te Woumem.
