Nots. Joan Meun 19 okt. 1700:"Het Comptoir van Jacob van Loosen, Harringhcoper". Nots. idem 28 juli 1704: mutueel testament van Mr. Jacob van Loosen en zijn huisvrouw Juffr.Grietjen Buyskies; hij annuleert zijn testament, verleden voor Not. Jan Kos te Hoorn op 29 nov.1695. Not. Frans Meun 21 juni 1705: "Pieter Cornelisz.Pronck, benoemt deze echtelieden tot zijn enige erfgenamen." Jacob van Loosen, ouderling in 1706, presenteerde een rekening aan de classis van Enkhuizen (WesterkerkArchief Enkhuizen, bundel 37 nr. 4) met uitgaven van zeven personen voor een reis naar de Synode te Amsterdam, gemaakt op 26 juli van dat jaar, deze personen waren hijzelf, zijn vrouw, Dom.Henricus Schainck en vier anderen, zij reisden per boot, via de Beemster, Monnikendam en Buiksloot, de totale uitgaven bedroegen 50 gl. 14 st. 0 p., waarvan 12 gl. 15 st.8 p. voor de reis werd betaald, inbegrepen 3 st."foy" voor de knecht. Transp. en Hypotheek reg. 11 mei 1733, noemt als zijn eigendom "een huys over de Stadts doelen"; Reg. idem 13 nov. 1733: hij koopt "Huis en erve op het Weajen" (wegjen?); 7 febr. 1733 bezit hij "een tuyn belent te Z. bei tuyn van Engel Appelman op de Groezes Wegjen". Nots. Frans Meun 23 juni 1723: een nieuw mutueel testament van de echtelieden. Nots. J. Cornel 4 april 1738: Als erfgenamen van Sybrant Willemsz. Groes door Gerrit Sybrantsz.Groes, compareren verschillende leden van de familie Buyskes, onder wie Jacob van Loosen als weduwnaar van Grietjen Buyskes, en hun twee dochters. Na zijn dood woonden zijn dochter en zijn schoonzoon A. Kluppel in zijn huis in de Bagijnestraat (zie nots.P. Visser d.d. 26 juli 1754).
