she married on 27-11-1840 in Barneveld (GL) to Hendrik van Ravenswaaij, son of Anthonie van Ravenswaaij & Neeltje van Lunteren. Boarded "Susanna Maria" on 10-5-1845 under the leadership of Rev. D. Copijn. Arrived on 20-6-1845 in Groningen in Suriname on the river Saramacca. Of the 397 settlers who arrived in Suriname in 1845, 179 died of the typhus that same year.
