Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Jerry and Mary MacAdam. Marie is survived by her children, Mary, who was her mom's primary caregiver; George (Mona), Cambridge; Liz (Louis) Wagner, Bedford; Kenneth (Theresa), Frankie, Sackville; as well as her very special chosen brother, Garfield Roberts and cousin, Mildred Baird, both of Halifax; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; nephew, Edward Ted MacAdam. Lillian was dedicated and loyal to her family, friends and her pets. She was predeceased by her devoted husband, Francis, and her sister, Catherine Kay Cooke. Visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in Atlantic Funeral Home, 125 Sackville Dr. Funeral mass will be 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Elizabeth Seton Roman Catholic Church, Metropolitan Avenue, Lower Sackville, Rev. Johni Mathew officiating. Burial in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Reception to follow in the church hall. The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to Dr. David Russell, to the many loyal and devoted staff from the VON and home support workers from Northwood Home Care who took great care of Marie during her years of declining health. Donations may be made to Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia (Research).
