On December 14, 1814, the provisional bailiff reports to the governor of Walcheren that two persons are missing: Jan Lourisse Verhage, son of Louris Verhage and Jacomina Vader. He served the 21st regiment 4th battery 4th infantry company of Ligne (Ligny, Belgium); Willem Willemse Thoutenhooft, son of Willem Aarnoutse Thoutenhooft and Neeltje Paauwe. He served the 14th regiment 2nd battery 1st infantry company. On April 4, 1815 they are still reported as missing.
