Andries Brink, c1718 x 1 November 1738 xx30 Maart 1749 +21 Augustus 1789. Indiens van die VOC en was hy ’n kwartiermeester toe hy op 20 Maart 1736 ’n vryburger geword het. Andries woon eers in Kaapstad en daarnain Stellenbosch. Rekords van die Kompanje dui daarop dat Andries ‘n Eerste Luitenant was tydens die tydperk wat Ryk Tulbagh. Andries was ook die Heemraadslid vir Stellenbosch op 11 Desember 1742 aangestel.

Andries trou met Sophia Grové, gebore op 13 Desember 1722 Paarl, † 21 Feb 1749, tweede kind enoudste dogter van Johannes Andreas Grové en Anna Nel, op Vrydag 1 November 1738 in die Kaapstad toe sy 15 jaar oud is. Vier kinders word uit hierdie huwelik gebore. Hulle is Andries, Jan Godlieb, Stephanus en Anna.
