Johann Heinrich TAUKEN / TOUWKEN hy was van Bruchhausen naby Syke in Hanover. Hy trou in 1690 op Mauritius metCatharina KEL. In 1692 was hy aan die Kaap.

Hulle dogter Anna word aan die Kaap gedoop 3 Februarie 1692.

In 1696 word daar melding gemaak dat hy "n burger is in Mauritius. Hy kom weer terug na die Kaap in 1706 met sy vrou en vyf kinders. Hy en sy vrou skei in 1720. Hy gaan terug na Europa in 1721 en sy vrou het na Indië gegaan.
