Notes about Frans Aedes van Eysinga

EYSINGA (Frans van) , geb. ± 1545, overleden te Wirdum 16 Mei 1603; zoon van Aede (1) en van Tiedt Juckema. Jurist van naam, behoorde evenals zijn broeders tot het Verbond der Edelen. In 1567 vluchtte hij; hij werd ingedaagd en het volgend jaar gebannen. In 1578 werd hij raadsheer in het Hof van Friesland, in 1602 presideerend raad. In 1582 trad hij nevens den toenmaligen voorzitter van het hof, Hessel Aysma, als bemiddelaar op tusschen de steden en de drie kwartieren Oostergoo, Westergoo en Zevenwouden.
Frans van E. huwde driemaal: 1o. met Lisck van Jousma overl. te Wirdum 1564; 2o. met Lisck van Waltinga, overl. in April 1582; 3o. met Riem van Galama (1535-1625). Uit het eerste huwelijk Aede (2) (kol. 586) en Juw of Julius (kol. 590).
