Hedenmiddag trof mij en myne tien kinderen de allerge-
voeligste slag, door dien het de God van Leven en Dood be-
haagde mijn tedergeliefde vrouw WILHELMINA COR-
NELIA PALING in den ouderdom van 42 jaar aan eene uit-
teerende Ziekte door den Dood uit mijne Liefde armen weg te
neemen; 24 jaar mogt ik met haar in eene allergewenschte
echt verenigd leven. Een slag die mij en mijn Huisgezin
in een diepe rouw dompelde om wat wij in haar missen eene
braave Vrouw en eene voorbeeldige Huismoeder, de volkome
verzekering dat zij biij haar Jezus leeft, aan wien zij door geoe-
fende Evangelische werkzaamheden verbonden was, leenigd
eenigermate mijn droefheid, door deze thans gebruikelijke
weg geeve ik aan mijn Vrienden en Bekenden hiervan ken-
nis, my verzekerd houdende van derzelven deelneming, ver-
zoeke van brieven van Rouwbeklag verschoond te worden.
