    In 1525 was Ids Idszn. van Roorda mede-eigenaar van Nijdamstra. Hij is vermeld in de Beneficiaalboeken van 1543: "Vuyt Nijdamstra guedt daer IJdts IJdtsz. no ter tijt op woent heeft de kercke des jaers aen pachten twaleff stuvers". Mogelijk bestaat er een familierelatie tussen deze Ids Idszn en de adellijke geslachten Roorda, Idsinga en Aytta, doch dit is nog niet bewezen.

    In 1583 waren zijn zoon Sythie Idtszn (te Roordahuizum) en dochter Syts Idtsdr (te Bolsward) eigenaar van "Nijdamstra saete toe Grou oft daer omtrent bij Aelsum" (Opm: bedoeld werd klooster Aalsum, nabij Oudeschouw).
