Freier Text: Vom Vater sind bei der Geburt nur der Vorname Franz und der Wohnort Schameder angegeben. Dort gibt es nur einen Franz: Birkelbach, * 1648. Dieser hat um 1668 eine Susanne geheiratet, die ich wegen gegenseitiger Patenschaften als Tochter von Johannes Sassmannshausen in Birkelbach angesehen habe.
Als Mutter von Hans wird Susanne, Tochter von Johann Bald in Steinbach, genannt. Sie ist mit diesen Vorgaben nicht zu finden. In Steinbach lässt sich nur eine Susanne nachweisen: Bald, * um 1631. Diese hat 1654 Johannes Knebel aus Volkholzgeheiratet; dem Ehepaar werden zwischen 1655 und 1672 in Steinbach neun Kinder geboren, darunter im Mai 1666 ein Sohn Johann Jakob. Wegen des geringen Abstands der Geburten (Mai - Dezember 1666) können die Mütter von Jakob und Hans nicht identisch sein.
In der Pfarrei Feudingen sind in den Jahren 1620 - 1650 insgesamt 15 Mädchen geboren worden, die den Vornamen Susanne erhielten. Sieben von ihnen sind mit weniger als zehn Jahren gestorben. Von weiteren sieben Susannen ist der Verbleib bekannt, so dass nur noch eine hier in Betracht kommen könnte: Susanne Hesselbach, * Banfe 1642. Beziehungen nach Steinbach sind jedoch nicht erkennbar.
So bleibt als letzte Möglichkeit, dass die Geburt der Susanne Bald in Steinbach im Kirchenbuch vergessen wurde. Doch auch das ist nicht machbar, weil es keine Lücke an passender Stelle gibt.
Deshalb die Überlegung, dass Susanne die spätere Ehefrau des Franz Birkelbach ist und dass sie bei einem der drei Johannes Bald als Magd gedient hat.
Das 1666 geborene Kind Hans könnte dann identisch sein mit dem Hoferben Hans Wilhelm, der in den amtlichen Abgaberegistern nur als Hans, im Kirchenbuch mal als Hans, mal als Hans Wilhelm bezeichnet wird.
Ich habe diese Gleichsetzung vorgenommen, da sie sich widerspruchsfrei einfügen lässt.
