Beim Tod der zweiten Ehefrau, 1721, ist er Beisitzer in Bfl, ohne Angabe des Hauses.
Beim Tod der dritten Ehefrau und bei seinem eigenen Tod ist er Beisitzer in Adams Haus in Bfl.
Kurz zuvor, 1736, wird er jedoch als JJost Schmidt, der alte, in Dippels beschrieben. Das ist sehr unwahrscheinlich.
Dippels Haus wurde zwischen 1715 und 1718 an Herm Saßmannshausen (*1685) neu vergeben.
