Es sind nur zwei ältere Johs Koch nachweisbar, die aber beide als Väter nicht in Betracht kommen: der eine ist um 1636, der andere um 1646 geboren. Beide sind zu alt. Nach WB 1765 Lg Koch hat er einen Bruder GgLg. Dieser ist jedoch eindeutig Sv Henrich. Ein weiteres Indiz ist die Erbfolge in Raden.
