Quellen: Angeblich wurde MElis Wehn (* 1777) von ihren Eltern Philippine gerufen. Dazu zwei Anmerkungen im KB Blb:
· "Die Eltern haben sie nachher Philippina genannt, so heißt sie im Copulationsbuch und im Geburtsbuch [?]. Diese Unordnung findet im Kirchspiel Berleburg, sonst wohl nirgend[s]. Sie starb als Witwe von Joh. Nilasch 1844 den 4ten April. Cons.Rath Kneip" [Taufbuch 1777]
· "Die Unordnung, daß Kindern andere Vornamen gegeben worden sind, als sie bei der Taufe empfangen haben, fin-det sich wohl nur hier." [Sterberegister 1844]
Vermutlich hat Pfr. Kneip übersehen, daß die MElis noch eine ältere Schwester KathPhile hatte. Vermutlich war diese die Ehefrau von Nilasch.
