Freier Text: In Dod gab es um 1650 - 1670 zwei Familien Giebel: die von Paul 1623 und die von Christoph 1625. Ersterem lassen sich elf Kinder relativ zuverlässig zuordnen, * 1646 - 1669. Unklar sind die Eltern von Johannes und Philipp. Nachdem eingetragenen Lebensalter müsste Johannes am 30.08.1662, Philipp 1666 oder 1667 geboren sein. Die zugeehörigen Geburtseintragungen gibt es heute nicht mehr. Beide könnten Brüder sein, da sie am 01.11.1692 die Schwestern Anna Margareteund Anna Katharina Meisenhen heirateten.
Von Christoph sind sieben Kinder - ebenfalls mit nur geringen Zweifeln - nachweisbar. Johannes und Philipp ließen sich dort noch unterbringen, wenn man die Altersangaben in Frage stellt.
Christoph hatte eindeutig einen Sohn Johannes, der im April 1663 im Alter von 7 Monaten starb. Er war demnach im August oder September 1662 geboren. Man kann annehmen, dass das folgende Kind des Christoph, geboren 1663 oder 1664, wieder denNamen Johannes bekam, und muss weiter unterstellen, dass der Pfarrer beim Tode des zweiten Johannes das Lebensalter nach der ersten Geburtseintragung berechnet hat.
Das Alter des Philipp ist mit 29 Jahren nur unscharf eingetragen worden. Wenn es exakt zuträfe, würde das Geburtsdatum mit dem der Schwester Anna Maria (get 04.11.1666) kollidieren. Wenn man annimmt, die 29 Jahre seien aus 28 + x nach obengerundet worden, kann man die Geburt des Philipp für 1667 oder gar 1668, also mit dem erforderlichen Abstand, ansetzen.
