Elsa Stevens was Albert’s mother. She died in 1853 and Clement remarried to Sarah Ann Bartlett in 1855. She was Albert’s stepmother. Nancy Makepeace was Albert’s 2nd wife, after Mary Newell.
I don’t have a photo of Albert’s gravestone. Unless its one that I took with my film camera before the digital days. I’ll check.
In any event I’ll put him on my list to check for when we go up there again this summer. He’s most likely in the Cornish Center Cemetery. That’s where most of the Thorntons in that town are buried.
