Notes about Josephine Emily Young

Diana (Young) Decker writes:
Just a young angry naive young girl moving to the "big city" of Lincoln. She got pregnant and gave the baby up for adoption. A year or two after her death, her half-sister Frances was contacted by Roger, looking for his birth mother. He has been welcomed into the family, though he has not yet supplied much in the way of personal information. Actually, he is a half-brother to Andy Anderson, whom I think you have contacted as he lives in Las Vegas. We went ahead and put him under Clarence Anderson's parentage, though that is really not the case. If Andy wants to, we can move Roger, but there would be no father listed at all. Never had the situation come up before, not sure how to handle it."

The story is essentially true. Clarence is not the father though, so not sure how to handle that part. He was put up for adoption and Clarence never saw him. Roger put an add in the Lincoln paper after finding out he was adopted when one of his adoptive parents died. He had no idea before. Frances answered the add with some reluctance... We have met him and stopped to visit with him several times. A very nice man... They use to come to Las Vegas to visit, but Rogers's health does not allow that now.
