"WILLIAM WALLACE CORBIN, was born 7/19/1879 at Sulphur Springs, Texas. the fifth living child of Granville Morgan CORBIN and Susan Artilla Withers (Nolen) (CORBIN). (Their first son, named Granville Jr., died. William Wallace was the oldest living son.) "Bill" and Lela Merl Donaldson (CORBIN) (born in Pontotoc Mississippi March 1, 1889 d. April 1, 1990 age 101 and a month) were married at Mill Creek, IT (Oklahoma) on April 30 1905. They are buried at Stillwater, OK. He was educated at Fort Worth Texas, and later at Commerce Texas. He moved to Indian Territory about 1900. He was a rancher beginning by working for ranches in the areas of north Texas and Indian Territory. He was killed in a car wreck 1/16/1932. He was a 32nd Degree Mason at Pontotoc OK. He is honored at the National Cowboy Hall of fame and Western Heritage Center, OK City, OK His Memorial Membership is dated 4/22/1967."
